Part V — The Expedition

Learning to Slow Down

Nature has no interest in our schedules.

The tides arrive when they arrive.

Whales migrate when the seasons call them.

The desert blooms when conditions are right.

The stars appear only after darkness.

The more time we spend outdoors, the more we begin adapting to nature's rhythm instead of expecting nature to adapt to ours.

Slowly...

We breathe differently.

We observe more carefully.

We stop rushing toward the next moment.

We begin living inside the present one.
